SA NetGuard enables 168-bit or 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) to safeguard your existing clients and servers that come with no or low level of security strength. It also provides 2-way certificate authentication to ensure the authenticity of both the client and server machines. It consists of two major components, namely, SA NetGuard Client and SA NetGuard Server.

SA NetGuard Client is usually located on the user’s system with the client software. It protects the information and transactions transmitted over the Internet with full-strength SSL/TLS security. It could also be downloaded automatically as a Java applet for web based deployment.

SA NetGuard Server runs outside a company’s firewall acting as a secure reverse proxy to the application server. Like the SA NetGuard Client, it protects all incoming requests and outgoing traffic with full-strength SSL/TLS security. This is an ideal option for those companies who do not have a fully secured server.
