SA NetGuard enables 168-bit or 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) to safeguard your existing clients and servers that come with no or low level of security strength. It consists of two major components, namely, SA NetGuard Client and SA NetGuard Server.

SA NetGuard Client is usually located on the user’s system with the client software. It protects the information and transactions transmitted over the Internet with full-strength SSL/TLS security. It could also be downloaded automatically as a Java applet for web based deployment.

SA NetGuard Server runs outside a company’s firewall acting as a secure reverse proxy to the application server. Like the SA NetGuard Client, it protects all incoming requests and outgoing traffic with full-strength SSL/TLS security. This is an ideal option for those companies who do not have a fully secured server.

Besides securing HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and further strengthening HTTPS traffics, SA NetGuard also secures other protocols like FTP (File Transfer Protocol), telnet (Network Virtual Terminal Protocol), IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol), SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol), and POP3 (Post Office Protocol Version 3).

SA NetGuard is developed using the latest Java technology. Thus, it supports almost all platforms and can be easily incorporated to any existing or proprietary applications.

Organizations like you can also have the option of adding an external module like Smart Card to your existing client via SA NetGuard or SSL accelerator card to your server via SA NetGuard server. You can use this Smart Card to store the digital certificate and key pairs. This protects you from any unauthorized users from accessing or copying your private keys.
