Operations Helpdesk Engineer

Job Description
  • Serving as the first point of contact to operational and user inquiries via phone and email
  • Create, review and update operational documentation and reports using Word and Excel
  • Following up with users to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Be proactive and promptly providing 1st level technical assistance to users' questions and problems
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer/Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate (both verbally and written) and interact effectively at all levels
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Committed, pro-active and dynamic working attitude
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in supporting government agency is preferred
  • Experience with software testing is preferred
  • Experience with programming languages in C, Java or C++ is preferred
  • Flexible with working hours, able to work shift hours
  • Singapore citizenship is required
