SecureAge Technology appoints global Chief Product Officer
With a career spanning 30 years, James brings his wealth of experience in the IT industry – from development to engineering director to CTO positions. He has managed large-scale commercial software product development and deployment across the globe during his time at Deutsche Bank in Germany, as the CTO of the commercial encryption company Secude GmbH in Switzerland, and in various similar positions in the US.
Most recently the CTO of DomainTools, James also served as the group director of engineering at Synopses, the R&D director of a cyber warfare program at DARPA in the US, as well as a project manager at SAIC, among others. He has created and overseen development offices in Germany, Singapore, China, India, and Vietnam.
In this newly created position, James will lead product management efforts for the SecureAge suite of products. That includes serving as a critical communication and planning link among internal groups as well as external agencies. James said ‘It is a pleasure to join SecureAge as Chief Product Officer during this exciting growth stage of the company. I’m eager to help innovate and expand our security products for enterprise use worldwide.’
The appointment of a Chief Product Officer follows the appointment of Jeremy Hutcherson as Chief Marketing Officer in 2019 and Jerry Ray as Chief Operating Officer in 2018 to round out the global expansion leadership team. Jerry added, ‘We’re thrilled in getting James aboard. He’ll hasten our ability to build for and reach the markets where our tools will be most useful and appreciated.’

About SecureAge Technology
SecureAge Technology is a rapidly growing data security company that places security and usability on equal footing. Headquartered in Singapore, we are trusted by governments, research institutes, and forward-thinking organizations to protect them from the most advanced and persistent cyber threats in the world. What makes SecureAge different, is we have built a reputation for data-centric and intuitive security solutions that protect data not only when it is stored, but also when it is in use, and in transit. We’ve achieved this by holding strong reign on our belief that users shouldn’t have to become cybersecurity experts to escape data liabilities. Instead, encryption should be inherent, invisible, and instinctive. To protect data when it is most vulnerable, security must take place at the file-level, operate silently in the background, and support the way in which people collaborate. That’s why our users can divert their resources to focus on other challenges – SecureAge users enjoy 100% file-level security, every file, every place, and every time.
